Research and Production Centre: from fabric to logistics

In 2007 Group of companies Energocontract launched its own research and development facility with the aims of insuring quality control of every part production, expanding its own scientific base, uniting existing logistic chains and shortening delivery time.

The complex of 15 700 m2 is located in the Moscow region and comprises more than 5000 technological operations.

The facility is unique at the Russian PPE market and a breakthrough for the Russian industry in general. The workshops are equipped with the best garment manufacturing machinery, such as automated laying-cutting units, a design engineering system, sewing and knitting machines of the latest generation, fabric measuring and inspecting lines, ensuring 100% quality control.

Some of the equipment can not be met working elsewhere on the territory of Russia at the moment. A high-temperature jigger for dyeing thermal-resistant fabrics is an example.

The knitting department uses only advanced equipment, for example flat-knitting Stoll machines. The glove machines knit heat-resistant aramid gloves with high tenacity. The printing workshop makes chevrons and prints logos on textiles and garments using special inks and pigments which do not support burning.

Before a final product leaves on its way to a customer it is assorted and packed in accordance with the customer’s requirements by the logistic department of Energocontract.

Only qualified sewers, technologists, designers and scientists are employed by Energocontract and work in the research and production centre in Tomilino.

Quality of the final product is ensured by strict requirements to the specialists’ work as well as control of all production processes. Certification of the quality management system of Energocontract under ISO 9001:2008 has become an important contribution to quality management. In accordance with the standard the company controls all the processes and is aimed at satisfying customers’ requirements at maximum.
